Hit-and-run collision leads to drunk driving charges for 1 man

A 62-year-old man has recently been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol following a recent motor vehicle accident in New York in which he allegedly fled the scene. Leaving the scene of a collision is never advisable, and may only increase suspicion of wrong-doing among investigating officers. According to reports, police responded to reports of a hit-and-run accident on a recent Friday. He is facing numerous charges in relation to the incident, including aggravated driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident.
