It does not matter how safe of a driver a person is or how clear their driving record may be, there are often circumstances that are difficult to compensate for. For example, driving in the dark in the early morning hours could reduce a person’s visibility, resulting in an accident. Although the cause of an accident in New York is unclear at this time, the driver has already been charged with drunk driving.
The accident occurred just before 6 a.m. one morning in early October. Police say that the 27-year-old driver of a sedan lost control of his vehicle and slammed into a tree. Some sources suggest there is a stop sign nearby that the driver could have missed.
A passenger in the vehicle, a 29-year-old male, was transferred to an area hospital but later died from his injuries. The driver suffered serious injuries in the accident and remains hospitalized. He has since been charged with drunk driving, but it is unclear when he will be arraigned.
At this time, it is also unclear what the man’s blood alcohol content was at the time of the accident or how it was determined. In addition to his accident and injuries, he will now also have to cope with the stress of going through the criminal process in New York as a result of the drunk driving charges all while he recovers. However, by seeking experienced help with such cases, he could have some relief knowing that he will have guidance pursuing the best possible outcome for his case.
